Come enjoy some of our many cultural foods we have to offer, pictured to the right is the "avatar special" that contains a little bit of everything for our more adventurous travelers. Being an island town most of our food contains fish and various other aquatic creatures but our real specialty is our sweets! Recently adopted from the mainland are non-fried dough treats to commemorate the day Avatar Aang was not burned in a vat of tar.

Take Combat Lessons from the Kyoshi Warriors

Founded by Avatar Kyoshi herself the Kyoshi Warriors are a group of fierce fighters who fight wearing traditional dresses and makeup and use their fans as defense as well as offense. Traditionally all Kyoshi Warriors are women but they are willing to train men as well given they wear all of the ceremonial garb, every element of their uniform signifies something meaningful and even if you don't train with them watching a demonstration during practice is truly a sight to see!

Ride the Terrifying Unagi

Lastly a tradition started by Avatar Aang daredevils are challenged to ride the fearful unagi. An old sea serpent that guards the small village it has taken care of Kyoshi for as long as it has been founded, but don't get on the creatures bad side because that would most certainly be your demise.
